利用先进巡天相机获取恒星团基准序列

摘要

我们展示了五个银河系球状星团和一个银河系疏散星团的颜色-星等图,金属丰度范围广泛(-2.1 < [Fe/H] < +0.3),利用哈勃太空望远镜上的先进巡天相机(ACS)在F606W(宽V)和F814W(I)波段观测得到。这些星团是两个大型ACS项目的一部分,用于测量仙女座星系晕、潮汐流和外盘的恒星形成历史。在这些项目中,星团用作经验等时线和理论等时线转换到ACS波段通带的定标器。为了使这些数据更容易被学界获取,我们为每个星团提供了追踪主序、亚巨星支和红巨星支上恒星的脊线,以及水平分支上恒星的位置。此外,我们提供了Victoria-Regina等时线到ACS波段通带的转换关系。
