Super-B 工厂设计现状

摘要

Super-B 国际团队继续优化正负电子对撞机的设计,以加强对味物理起源的研究。该项目结合了直线对撞机(高单次碰撞亮度)和储存环对撞机(高重复率)的最佳特性,汇集了加速器物理的各个方面,实现了 103610^{36} cm2^{-2} sec1^{-1} 的极高亮度。这台具有极化电子束的非对称能量对撞机将在 Υ\Upsilon(4S) 共振处产生数亿个 B 介子。当前设计基于极低发射度束流,以大 Piwinski 角对撞,从而无需超短束团即可实现极低的 βy\beta_y^\star。使用蟹腰六极磁铁将增强亮度,抑制危险共振并允许更高的束束参数。该项目具有灵活的束流参数、改进的动态孔径,并在低能环中配备了自旋旋转器,以在相互作用点实现电子束的纵向极化。该设施针对最佳对撞束性能进行了优化,同时也可为同步辐射应用提供高亮度光子束。
