星体作为银河中中子星源

摘要
根据对广泛质量范围的星体演化历史进行的详细评估，提出了关于星体作为中子星源的理论期望。给出所有星体生命周期以及白矿星最终冷却过程中“热核”和“冷却”中子星通量及累计中子星产量。提出并讨论了关于银河中子星背景和宇宙中子星背景的预测。
