摘要
星系通常通过诊断图（如[N II]/Halpha vs. [O III]/Hbeta）分类为恒星形成星系或活动星系。活动星系进一步分类为赛弗特星系或类低电离核发射区（LINER）源。我们声称，在斯隆数字巡天中被分类为LINER的星系中，有不可忽略的一部分实际上是由热的后渐近巨星支星和白矮星电离的。
