线性偏振的标准星

我们报告了自 1999 年至 2005 年获取的 FORS1 仪器标准星线性偏振观测分析。我们考虑了在成像偏振和光谱偏振两种模式下进行的观测。在 Bessel BVRI 滤波带中获得了宽带偏振；在 various grisms 中获得光谱偏振，覆盖不同的光学范围，分辨率通常为几百。光谱偏振数据被卷积于 Bessel 滤波的传递函数中，从而计算出等效于成像模式下宽带偏振测量值的偏振值。最后，对于每颗星、每种仪器模式以及每个 Bessel 滤波带，我们计算了在剔除所有可用数据后（使用 k-σ 折切算法）得到的平均偏振值。
