摘要
在实验核天体物理中，众所周知反应截面必须在天体物理相关的低能区测量，或至少尽可能接近它们。然而在大多数情况下，不可能达到如此低的能量。因此必须在较高能量下研究反应，并将截面外推至较低能量。本文强调了在宽能区测量截面的重要性，并从氢燃烧过程与重元素核合成领域给出了若干例子。
