表面单原子在矢量磁场中的自旋共振振幅与频率

摘要
我们结合电子自旋共振(ESR)与扫描隧道显微镜(STM),在矢量磁场下测量了MgO上低对称性结合位点处氢化的Ti(自旋-1/2)原子。我们发现三个空间方向上的g值均具有强各向异性。有趣的是,ESR信号的振幅与线形也强烈依赖于磁场角度。我们得出结论:Ti自旋沿磁场方向排列,而针尖自旋遵循其强磁各向异性。我们的结果表明了针尖自旋与表面自旋在决定ESR信号中的相互作用,并凸显了ESR-STM识别单原子自旋态的精度。
