通过自旋联络推导了具有 Rashba 型自旋轨道耦合的二维电子气中的自旋电流。利用泛函积分方法，我们重现了 Sinova 等人 [Phys. Rev. Lett. 92, 126603 (2004)] 在均匀电场且无杂质情况下推导的结果。我们将此结果推广到非均匀电场和磁场的情形。我们发现，非均匀磁场可以产生与 Rashba 耦合无关的自旋电流，因此与均匀电场的情况相比，它们对杂质的敏感性较低。
