MWC 314的光谱、MOST测光与干涉观测:它是亮蓝变星还是相互作用双星?

MWC 314是一个明亮的候选亮蓝变星(LBV),位于一个相当紧密的双星系统中,轨道周期为60.753±\pm0.003 d。我们结合光学光谱、宽带地基与天基测光以及长基线近红外干涉观测了MWC 314。我们修正了单线光谱轨道并探讨了测光变率。轨道光变曲线每个轨道显示两个极小值,可部分用主星在近星点附近的潮汐畸变解释。系统中的发射线常呈双峰且运动学上静止,表明存在环双星盘。我们发现恒星风或环双星盘在K′波段用CHARA阵列最长基线部分分辨。由此分析,我们提供一个简单的定性模型试图解释观测。从洛希瓣溢出和近星点潮汐同步的假设,我们估计成员星质量分别为M1 5\approx 5 M_\odot和M215\approx 15 M_\odot,表明LBV质量极低。除轨道调制外,我们用MOST卫星发现了两个脉动模式。这些模式很容易被低质量氢贫星支持,但不易被具有LBV参数的星支持。这些结果组合提供证据表明主星可能从未是正常的LBV,而是双星相互作用的产物。因此,该系统为用多种观测技术研究质量转移和双星演化提供了机会。
