场域与星团O型星的光谱类型

摘要
我们利用Mai'z-Apella'niz等人最近编纂的银河系O型星光谱类型目录，研究O型星在场域、星团关联星以及流浪星中的不同亚类型的频率差异。在统计显著性水平下，数据显示星团和关联星中的O型星具有更早的光谱类型（因此推测质量更大和/或年龄更年轻），而位于一般场域的O型星则较晚。进一步发现，流浪O型星的光谱亚类型分布与场域星中的分布无显著差异，但与位于星团和关联星中的O型星有显著差异。这种差异表明，流浪O型星平均具有较晚的亚类型。
