时空聚焦并不总能改善轴向强度局域化

摘要
我们报告了关于空气中非线性自聚焦临界强度的实验比较,涉及常规聚焦和时空聚焦方案。我们的结果表明,当入射光束完全填充聚焦透镜时,常规聚焦允许针对自聚焦效应实现最强的轴向强度限制。这是因为在高数值孔径条件下,焦点将具有紧凑的尺寸,从而产生高聚焦强度。同时,聚焦光束的瑞利长度将显著缩短,从而有效地推迟自聚焦的发生。
