第五种力搜寻的一些近期进展

摘要
近来我们指出，大多数近期的第五种力搜寻与弱等效原理（WEP）检验仅使用一两对测试样品。我们认为，尽管这些实验具有极高的精度，但样品缺乏多样性可能意味着它们无法探测到新的依赖于组成的力，而这需要观测数据中的某种模式。此种模式曾在 Eötvös、Pekár 和 Fekete（EPF）的实验中观测到，那是最后一次使用大量不同样品的高精度 WEP 检验。我们主张开展新的实验，使用足够数量与范围的样品，以确认或反驳 EPF 实验数据中所发现的模式。
