星系碰撞对星系 ICM 中某些效应的影响

摘要
我们 presented 对星系在星系团中 ICM 剥离与星系碰撞综合效应的数值模型的初步结果。我们采用 Couchman 等人 (1995) 的 Hydra 自适应网格、P3M + SPH 代码。 generally 来看，星系相互作用中形成的扩展潮汐和 splash 结构会促进 ICM 剥离。来自尾巴和浪的巨型云被剥离的质量云在 ICM 中的压缩可能产生显著的自由漂浮星团或矮星系 population。
