如果密度扰动足够大，小型黑洞应在早期宇宙中形成。本文旨在提供一份偏见且片面的短期概述。首先讨论通过伽马射线和宇宙射线的tentative实验探测。随后将原始黑洞(Primordial Black Holes, PBHs)视为探测极小尺度宇宙学尺度的手段，这远超任何经典可观测量。最后讨论一些可能的"新物理"效应，尤其是在更高维度的框架下。
