SoLid:一种短基线反应堆中微子实验

摘要

SoLid 实验全称 Search for Oscillations with a Lithium-6 detector(利用锂-6 探测器搜寻振荡),是新一代中微子实验,旨在应对在距反应堆堆芯极短距离、且极少或没有覆盖层条件下进行高精度反应堆中微子测量的关键挑战。SoLid 实验的主要目标是精确测量电子反中微子能谱与通量,并搜寻极短距离中微子振荡以探测 eV 尺度惰性中微子。本文描述了 SoLid 的探测原理、机械设计及探测器的建造。随后报告了在比利时 BR2 反应堆附近的现场安装与调试,最后重点介绍了其在探测器响应与校准方面的性能。
