超级神冈-IV 中的太阳中微子测量

摘要
升级的电子学系统、改进的水系统动力学、更好的校准和分析技术使得超级神冈-IV 能够清晰地观测到极低能量的 8B 太阳中微子相互作用,反冲电子动能低至 3.49 MeV。超级神冈-IV 的数据采集始于 2008 年 9 月;本文包含截至 2014 年 2 月的数据,总活时间为 1664 天。假设无振荡,测得的太阳中微子通量为 (2.308 ± 0.020 (统计) + 0.039 - 0.040 (系统)) × 10^6 / (cm^2·sec)。观测到的反冲电子能谱与中微子振荡无畸变一致。对 SK-IV 中微子-电子弹性散射率的预期太阳天顶角变化幅度进行扩展最大似然拟合,得到昼夜不对称性为 (-3.6 ± 1.6 (统计) ± 0.6 (系统))%。SK-IV 太阳中微子数据确定太阳混合角为 sin^2 θ_12 = 0.327 + 0.026 - 0.031,所有 SK 太阳数据(SK-I、SK-II、SK-III 和 SK-IV)测得该角为 sin^2 θ_12 = 0.334 + 0.027 - 0.023,确定的质量平方差为 Δm^2_21 = 4.8 + 1.5 - 0.8 × 10^-5 eV^2。
