SN 2020acat:一个快速上升的IIb型超新星的绝佳范例

摘要

本文展示了SN 2020acat在爆炸后约250天内的紫外(UV)和近红外(NIR)测光以及光学光谱观测。利用从UV到NIR波段的快速上升测光观测,构建了拟热光度光变曲线,并与若干其他观测良好的IIb型超新星(SNe IIb)进行了比较。SN 2020acat表现出极短上升时间,仅在约14.6±0.3天内达到Log₁₀(L)=42.49±0.15 erg s⁻¹的峰值光度。通过对拟热光度光变曲线建模,我们估计SN 2020acat合成的⁵⁶Ni总质量为0.13±0.02 M⊙,抛射物质量为2.3±0.3 M⊙,动能为1.2±0.2×10⁵¹ erg。SN 2020acat的光学光谱在过渡期(≳100天,介于光球阶段与星云阶段之间)仍显示出明显的氢特征。光谱还在4900 Å附近显示出强特征,不能仅由FeⅡ 5018谱线的存在来解释。我们推测FeⅡ特征被HeⅠ 5016增强,并可能受到NⅡ 5005存在的影响。通过测光与光谱分析,我们推断SN 2020acat的前身星是一颗中等质量致密星,其M_ZAMS为18–22 M⊙。
