SN 2016dsg:涉及厚氦壳层的热核爆炸

摘要

由碳-氧白矮星核上氦壳层爆轰触发的热核爆炸,据预测因氦壳层燃烧产生的铁族元素而在早期具有强 UV 线遮挡。我们呈现 SN 2016dsg 的光度与光谱观测,这是一颗亚光度特殊 I 型超新星,与涉及厚 He 壳层的热核爆炸一致。其红移为 0.04,ii 波段峰值绝对星等约为 -17.5。该天体远离其宿主(一早型星系),表明其源自年老恒星种群。峰值后收集的光谱异常偏红,显示强 UV 线遮挡与弱 O I λ\lambda7773 吸收线,且在 30 天内无显著演化。近红外光谱中探测到约 9700–10500 \AA 的吸收线,可能来自抛射物中未燃烧的氦。光谱演化与含厚氦壳层的亚钱德拉塞卡质量白矮星热核爆炸模型一致,而光度演化未被现有模型很好描述。
