摘要
SMC 3是最有趣的共生星之一。该双星系统包含一颗明亮的K型巨星向一颗大质量白矮星伴星转移质量，这使其成为极具前景的Ia型超新星候选体。我们利用种群合成代码的结果讨论了该系统的演化状态。
