摘要
我们利用SNS的精细分辨率费米斩波谱仪(SEQUOIA)，对非常规自旋-佩尔斯化合物TiOBr的粉末样品进行了飞行时间中子散射测量。这些测量揭示了公度和非公度自旋-佩尔斯相内的两个磁激发分支，我们将其归因于从单重态基态激发出的n=1和n=2三重态激发。这些测量首次直接测量了TiOBr中的单重态-三重态能隙，确定为Eg = 21.2 ± 1.0 meV。
