DarkSide-50双相TPC中氩响应与光探测的模拟

已开发了一个名为G4DS的基于Geant4的蒙特卡洛软件包,用于模拟DarkSide-50的响应;DarkSide-50是自2013年起在LNGS运行的实验,旨在探测液氩中的WIMP相互作用。在WIMP搜寻过程中,DarkSide-50取得了两个重要里程碑:利用脉冲形状甄别技术以约10^7的抑制能力排除电子反冲本底,以及测量地下氩中残余的39Ar污染,其水平比大气氩低约3个数量级。这些结果依赖于探测器对液氩闪烁、其电离及电子-离子复合过程响应的精确模拟。本工作全面概述了DarkSide蒙特卡洛及其性能,特别关注定制液氩响应模型PARIS。
