中等年龄富金属核球星族的特征

摘要
我们测定了银河系核球中38颗微引力透镜矮星和亚巨星样本的详细元素丰度及恒星年龄。亚太阳金属丰度的恒星均为年老恒星，且α元素丰度增强——这与本地厚盘恒星的特征非常相似。另一方面，富金属恒星则表现出广泛的恒星年龄分布，从3-4 Gyr到12 Gyr不等，平均年龄约为7-8 Gyr。年轻富金属恒星的存在与近期基于测光的研究（声称核球仅包含年老恒星）相矛盾。
