大型强子对撞机上的重子观测量产生的黑洞签名

摘要
大型额外维度（LED）的概念为解决层级问题提供了一种方法，该问题涉及强力和电弱力相比引力的微弱性。LED 的一个后果是微型黑洞（mini-BHs）可能在 LHC 的 p+p 碰撞中产生。本工作使用 CHARYBDIS 微型黑洞生成器代码来模拟如果这些奇异物体确实产生的话，在中间快度粒子跟踪探测器中可能预期的强子信号。还给出了对 Pb+Pb 碰撞的估计。
