Sgr A East 及其周围环境的 X 射线观测

我们报告了 Sgr A East 及其周围环境的 XMM-Newton 观测结果。Sgr A East 的 X 射线光谱可用温度约为 1 和约 4 keV 的两温度等离子体模型良好地描述。仅铁元素丰度显示明显的空间变化;其浓度集中在 Sgr A East 的核心处。推导出的等离子体参数表明 Sgr A East 源于单次超新星爆炸。在 Sgr A East 周围,存在广泛的硬 X 射线辐射分布,叠加有一股向上和向下延伸至平面之外的软 X 射线成分。我们讨论了这些结构的性质以及其与 Sgr A* 紧密相邻的关系。
