SEGUE-2 对银河系晕中富金属老年星族超高速星的限制

我们提出了由 SEGUE-2 巡天探测到的、从银河系中心抛射出的富金属老年星族超高速星的新限制。我们的限制比以前报道的严格 3-10 倍，具体取决于恒星类型。与已知的 B 型星抛射体种群相比，从银河系中心抛射出的富金属老年星族 F/G 型星数量不能超过其 30 倍。由于 B 型星在正常恒星种群中只占极小比例，这对银河系中心质量函数和超高速星抛射机制的组合施加了显著限制。在存在正常银河系中心质量函数的情况下，我们的结果要求抛射机制抛射 B 型星的效率比抛射低质量 F/G 型星高约 5.5 倍。
