SCOPE: SCUBA-2 原原恒星演化连续谱观测——巡天描述与致密源星表

摘要

我们呈现 JCMT 大计划 SCUBA-2 原原恒星演化连续谱观测(SCOPE)的首批数据与致密源星表。SCOPE 包含使用詹姆斯·克拉克·麦克斯韦望远镜上的亚毫米波通用用户辐射热计阵列 2 对 1235 个 Planck 银河系冷团(PGCCs)进行的 850 微米连续谱观测。这些数据角分辨率为 14.4 角秒,显著优于 Planck 在 5 角分处的 353 GHz 分辨率,并得以编制出 558 个 PGCCs 中的 3528 个致密源星表。我们发现被探测到的 PGCCs 具有显著子结构,61% 的被探测 PGCCs 含有 3 个或更多致密源,丝状结构在该样本中同样普遍。全巡天探测率为 45%,对 NH2N_{H_{2}} >> 5 ×\times 1021^{21} cm2^{-2} 的 Planck 柱密度具有 95% 的完备性。通过将 SCOPE 致密源与 YSOs 进行位置关联,发现近邻云中由光度与质量之比衡量的恒星形成效率与更遥远的银道面中相似,其柱密度分布彼此亦不可区分。
