摘要
我们提出拟议的Daksha高能暂现源任务的科学论证。Daksha将由两颗卫星组成,覆盖从1~keV到~MeV的全天区。该任务的主要目标是发现并刻画引力波源的电磁对应体,以及研究伽马射线暴(GRBs)。Daksha是一种多功能全天监测器,可应对广泛科学课题。凭借其宽带能谱响应、高灵敏度与连续全天覆盖,它将发现比任何现有或拟议任务更暗弱与更稀有的源。Daksha可通过偏振研究、暴发的软能谱与精细时间分辨能谱研究在GRB研究中取得关键进展。Daksha将提供X射线脉冲星的连续监测。它将探测磁星爆发与快速射电暴的高能对应体。利用地球掩食测量源通量,两颗卫星共同将获得亮硬X射线源(包括活动星系核、X射线双星及新星等慢变暂现源)的每日通量测量。两星间的相关研究可通过透镜探测原初黑洞。Daksha将有一组探测器持续指向太阳,提供优异的硬X射线监测数据。在地球附近,Daksha的高灵敏度与时间分辨率可用于表征陆基伽马射线闪。
