K2巡天扩展。V. 来自K2第2–18观测期的60颗新系外行星的统计验证

摘要

NASA的K2任务从开普勒望远镜的硬件故障中挽救而来,延续了开普勒搜寻行星的成功。它已在黄道面附近发现近500颗凌星行星(其中许多成为后续研究对象)以及逾1000颗额外候选体。本文展示一项正在进行的新K2行星后续观测与统计验证项目的结果,旨在特别识别有前景的新目标以作进一步表征。通过分析91颗候选体的侦察光谱、高分辨率成像、质心偏移及信号统计似然,我们在46个系统中验证了60颗新行星。其中包括:若干适于透射光谱(K2-384 f、K2-387 b、K2-390 b、K2-403 b和K2-398 c)、发射光谱(K2-371 b、K2-370 b和K2-399 b)及两者兼宜(K2-405 b和K2-406 b)的行星;若干具有平运动共振或近共振的行星系统(K2-381、K2-398),含一个围绕中M矮星(K2-384)的紧凑、类TRAPPIST-1五小行星系统;热土星荒漠中的超短周期亚土星行星(K2-399 b);以及绕一颗中等亮度(V=11.93)、贫金属([Fe/H]=-0.579±0.080)宿主恒星的超级地球(K2-408 b)。我们总计在4颗F型星、26颗G型星、13颗K型星和3颗M矮星周围验证了行星。此外,我们提供37颗已筛查行星候选体列表,应优先开展后续观测以确认或验证。
