摘要

Vera C. Rubin 时空遗产巡天(LSST)有潜力革新时域天体物理,触及完全未探索的宇宙区域,并绘制从数分钟到十年的变率时间尺度图谱。为准备最大化 Rubin LSST 数据对暂现与变星宇宙(Rubin LSST 科学的四大支柱之一)探索的潜力,作为八个 Rubin LSST 科学协作组之一的暂现源与变星科学协作组,已确定感兴趣的研究领域、需求以及实现路径。尽管我们的路线图不断演进,本文档代表了在巡天首光前最后几年和几个月中我们计划与准备工作的一个快照。
