摘要
甚高能(VHE,能量 >~ 100 GeV)γ射线与河外背景光(EBL)的光子发生对产生。因此,宇宙学源的内在γ射线通量被衰减,宇宙对于高于红移依赖能量的γ射线应该是不透明的。最近,有迹象表明宇宙比下限EBL模型预测的更透明。本文用额外的VHE γ射线谱和不同的EBL模型来检验这一迹象。根据不透明度模型,该迹象的置信水平在约2.6σ到约4.3σ之间。
