五个活动星系光学发射线的反响映射

我们展示了 2014 年执行的一项光学反响映射活动的首批结果,目标为活动星系核(AGN)MCG+08-11-011、NGC 2617、NGC 4051、3C 382 和 Mrk 374。我们的目标具有多样且有趣的观测特性,包括一个“变脸”AGN 和一个宽线射电星系。基于连续谱与 H 之间的延迟,我们测量了所有五个目标的黑洞质量。我们还获得了除 3C 382 外所有天体的 H 和 He{\sc ii}\, 延迟。He{\sc ii}\, 延迟表明宽线区(BLR)存在径向分层,且由不同发射线导出的质量总体上一致。这些谱线的相对响应度也与光致电离模型定性一致。这些光谱具有极高的信噪比(每像素 100--300),获得速度分辨的反响信号特征的前景极佳。
