ANTARES 水下中微子望远镜位于地中海，距土伦约 40 公里，深度为 2475 米。在其 12 线配置中，它拥有分布在 275 个“层”中的近 900 个光电倍增管。本文讨论了探测器的性能并展示了若干结果，包括下行 μ 子的测量、高能 μ 中微子弥散通量的搜寻、宇宙中微子点源的搜寻、快磁单极子的搜寻等。还简要讨论了利用中微子望远镜进行地球与海洋科学研究。
