摘要
LHC前所未有的对撞能量开辟了新的发现前沿。遗憾的是，新物理的迹象尚未显现。LHC首个专用搜索实验MoEDAL在Run 2期间开始取数。MoEDAL旨在利用LHC上的pp和重离子对撞搜索高电离粒子的新物理化身。MoEDAL在Run 3的升级计划——MAPP探测器（MoEDAL Apparatus for Penetrating Particles）——将把MoEDAL的物理探测范围扩展到包含标准模型之外物理的弱相互作用和长寿命信使。这将使我们能够以对常规LHC对撞机探测器互补的方式探索若干新物理模型，包括暗 sector 模型。本文聚焦于近期结果及LHC Run 3的计划。
