摘要

$^3$ He(n,p)过程因高中子截面及中子到质子的近乎完全能量转移，在热中子至 $\sim$ 4\,MeV之间极为适合中子探测。该过程通常以气态形式结合电离读出探测器使用。本文研究一种采用闪烁读出的液态 $^3$ He中子探测器的响应。在相似探测器体积下，我们预计其效率相较10\,atm气态探测器提升约64倍。
