dC相互作用中γγ和π^0π^0系统的共振结构

摘要

在反应d + C → γ + γ + X(动量2.75 GeV/c每核子)中,除了π^0和η介子外,在双光子不变质量谱M_{γγ} = 360 ± 7 ± 9 MeV处观测到一个共振结构。其宽度和产生截面的估计值分别为Γ = 64 ± 18 MeV和σ_{γγ} = 98 ± 24 μb。收集到的统计量为2339 ± 340个事件,来自1.5 × 10^6次触发相互作用,总dC相互作用数约为10^12。给出了在两个π^0介子不变质量谱中观测到该共振的结果:在d + C → γ + γ反应中获得的数据由d + C → π^0 + π^0反应证实:M_{π^0π^0} = 359.2 ± 1.9 MeV,Γ = 48.9 ± 4.9 MeV;分支比Br(R→γγ)/Br(R→π^0π^0) = (1.8 ÷ 3.7) × 10^{-3}。
