Snowmass 2021 仪器前沿工作组报告

摘要

探测器仪器处于科学发现的核心。尖端技术使美国粒子物理能够在全球发挥引领作用。本报告总结了高能物理(HEP)仪器技术的现状、未来实验面临的挑战与需求,并指出了高优先级的研究领域。Snowmass 仪器前沿研究对撞机物理、中微子物理、稀有与精密物理以及宇宙前沿未来实验所需的探测器技术与研发(R&D)。其划分成大致对角化的若干领域,其中少数领域有所重叠。我们提出了五条高层次关键信息,旨在确保美国探测器仪器界乃至整个粒子物理领域的健康与竞争力。
