摘要
我们解构并回应了针对 Carroll 等人 [Phys Rev Lett 126, 063902 (2021)]（PRL）的一篇评论，该评论发布于 arXiv，存在两个版本 [arXiv:2106.15242v1] 与 [arXiv:2106.15242v2]。该评论声称 PRL 中所提出模型的一项被错误地遗漏了，并由此认为 PRL 中模型所预测的激光阈值无法达到。我们指出，该项被正确地忽略，因为它代表的是在 PRL 所建模的器件中不可观测的集体效应。此外，即便将该项纳入，激光阈值依然存在，这与评论中的断言相反。我们得出结论：PRL 中提出的模型是正确的，其结果具有创新性，并在激光物理与量子光学中有广泛应用。
