Cherenkov阈值探测器新型平面镜的反射率研究与制造

摘要

Cherenkov阈值探测器(XCET)用于在CERN实验区域内识别粒子。这些探测器观测到在充填气体舱内发生的带电粒子发出的Cherenkov光。XCET探测器的关键组件是反射Cherenkov光以指向光子倍增管(PMT)的45度平面镜。本文对该镜头的设计、材料、表面涂层及涂层技术进行了 thorough 分析与优化。选定合适的制造工艺,制造并生产了首个镜头原型机,安装并在CERN东区进行了测试。present of experimental data from beam tests is presented to assess the efficiency of the new coating and materials used.
