通过AI辅助协商降低警报疲劳:针对Dependabot的案例研究

摘要

软件依赖关系的日益复杂导致自动化依赖管理工具(如Dependabot)的出现。然而,这些工具常常会给开发者带来大量警报和通知,导致警报疲劳。本文提出使用人工智能(AI)代理作为依赖协商者,以降低警报疲劳的观点。我们 then examine specific use cases where AI agents can facilitate dependency negotiations, such as when working with external dependencies or managing complex, multi-component systems. Our findings highlight the need for more research on the design and evaluation of AI-driven dependency mediation mechanisms. With a focus on ensuring transparency, explainability, and human trustworthiness in these GitHub software projects, our goal is to reduce alert fatigue to an extent that maintainers no longer feel overwhelmed and welcome pull requests just like any other contribution into their projects.
