使用高动态范围约瑟夫森参量放大器读取量子处理器

摘要

我们展示了一种高动态范围约瑟夫森参量放大器(JPA),其有源非线性元件由 rf-SQUID 阵列实现。该器件通过 Klopfenstein 锥形阻抗变换器匹配至 50 Ω 环境,实现了 250–300 MHz 带宽,在 20 dB 增益下输入饱和功率高达 -95 dBm。我们使用 54 量子比特 Sycamore 处理器对这些器件进行基准测试,提供了读取功率的校准、放大器附加噪声的估计,以及与采用单个 dc-SQUID 的标准阻抗匹配参量放大器进行比较的平台。我们发现高功率 rf-SQUID 阵列设计对系统噪声、读取保真度或量子比特退相干均无不利影响,并估计放大器附加噪声的上界为量子极限的 1.6 倍。最后,采用该设计的放大器在读取保真度上未因增益压缩而退化,而增益压缩在传统 JPA 的多音复用读取中可能出现。
