Double Chooz 实验中的反应堆电子反中微子消失

摘要

Double Chooz 实验在 227.93 个有效天内观测到 8,249 个候选电子反中微子事例,曝光量为 33.71 GW-ton-years(反应堆功率 ×\times 探测器质量 ×\times 有效时间),使用的是位于法国 Chooz 核电站反应堆堆芯 1050 m 处、具有 10.3 m310.3\ \mathrm{m}^3 fiducial volume 的探测器。若 θ13=0\theta_{13} = 0,预期事例数为 8,937 个。该亏损被解释为电子反中微子消失的证据。通过速率加能谱形状分析,我们得到 sin22θ13=0.109±0.030(stat)±0.025(syst)\sin^2 2{\theta}_{13} = 0.109 \pm 0.030(\mathrm{stat}) \pm 0.025(\mathrm{syst})。数据在 99.8% CL (2.9σ2.9\sigma) 下排除了无振荡假设。
