HoII的顺压作用与异常壳形结构

摘要
我们展示了对矮倒正星系HoII（该星系是壳形结构研究的原型星系）的中性氢VLA D阵列观测。大尺度HI结构类似于顺压作用，可能性不大是由于相互作用造成。我们提出在像M81星团这样的薄小星系团中，星系间的气体可能起到了重要作用。我们指出了超新星爆炸和恒星风情景在解释HoII壳形结构方面的诸多不足之处，并建议顺压作用可能能够解释现有的观测结果。
