Kondo绝缘体YbB₁₂热容中的量子振荡

摘要

我们在Kondo绝缘体YbB₁₂的热容中观察到磁量子振荡。这些振荡的频率F=670 T,与Kondo绝缘相中μ₀H>35 T时的磁阻和扭矩磁强计实验结果一致。值得注意的是,热容中的量子振荡幅度很大,在0.8 K时ΔC̃/T≈0.5 mJ mol⁻¹ K⁻²,占已知线性热容系数γ的13%。识别出由于费米子分布函数导致的量子振荡振幅的双峰结构,并用于从热容确定有效质量的值,该值与扭矩磁强计的结果吻合良好。这些观测支持电荷中性费米子对YbB₁₂中量子振荡的贡献。
