本文质疑了 Radin 等人近期进行的双缝干涉实验能够检验实验者意识在量子波函数坍缩中可能作用这一断言的有效性。文章强调，量子力学不需要任何心理物理成分来解释测量过程，因此超心理学家不应诉诸后者来支持心灵致动 (psychokinesis) 的可能性，而应寻求更具说服力的解释。
