光学谐振器时间带宽乘积的量子极限

摘要

Tsakmakidis 等人 [Science 356, 1260 (2017)] 提出了一项引人深思的方案,指出非互易光学可以打破无源谐振器的时间带宽极限。在此我对他们的谐振器模型进行量子化,并表明量子力学确实施加了一个极限,或者要求以与有源谐振器中放大的自发辐射相同的方式引入额外噪声。我还利用热力学论证了他们提出的器件中必然存在额外的耗散或噪声。
