来自地球同步轨道卫星光信号的量子极限测量

摘要

对经过长距离传输的量子信号进行测量具有基础研究和技术应用双重意义。本文展示了对从地球同步轨道卫星发送至光学地面站的光信号进行的量子极限相干测量。我们界定了量子态在穿越地球引力势及其湍流大气传播 38600 公里后可能获得的额外噪声上限。我们的结果表明,在此类场景下量子通信原则上可行,突显了构建全球量子密钥分发网络以实现安全通信的可能性。
