摘要
在生物学研究与调查中，使用定量宽带回声测深仪相比窄带回声测深仪具有显著优势。这些优势包括改进的基于频谱的目标识别能力，以及显著提升的单个目标分辨能力。生物学研究与调查通常需要准确的反向散射强度测量，我们在此系统地、全面地解释了如何从宽带回声测深仪信号中推导作为频率函数的目标强度和体积反向散射的定量估计。
