Q0906+6930：最高红移的耀变体

摘要
我们报告发现了一个红移z=5.47的射电噪平谱类星体，其性质与EGRET伽马射线耀变体相似。该源是红移z>5处最亮的射电类星体，具有秒差距尺度的射电喷流，黑洞质量估计>10^{10}太阳质量。它似乎是迄今为止发现的最遥远的耀变体。对该源的高能观测可以为早期宇宙中的背景辐射提供强有力的探针。
