摘要
20 世纪 90 年代初见证了脉冲中子谱学在低维磁系统激发研究中的首次有效应用，Roger Cowley 作为重要早期实验的关键参与者。自那时起，该技术已蓬勃发展成为一种强大工具，利用极大改进的中子仪器与更强大的脉冲源相结合。在此我们回顾代表性实验，阐明在准一维和二维系统中已揭示的一些迷人物理。
