摘要
2017年,AWAKE演示了来自CERN超级质子同步加速器(SPS)的400 GeV质子束的播种自调制(SSM)。由SSM偏转的质子的角分布是该过程的定量度量,其与二维(轴对称)粒子网格(PIC)代码LCODE的模拟结果一致。对于 至 粒子间的束流数目、各种等离子体密度梯度()以及两种等离子体密度( 和 ),均达成一致。该一致仅在足够宽的模拟箱(至少五个等离子体波长)情形下取得。
